Hosted by the Texas Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA)
We are invited by SCCA to enter our Jaguars in their March 31st road rally. A road rally is a competition, not of speed, but of skill in being observant and following the written course instructions. Usually, the competitors consist of a driver and a person in the passenger seat acting as a navigator. The driver pays attention to traffic and to obeying traffic laws while following the instructions given by the navigator. This type of rally is called a gimmick, Type III or a GTA rally. You and your navigator may have to watch for signs along the rally route, solve a word puzzle or stop and gather “supplies”. The rally ends at a restaurant/bar where everyone enjoys telling rally lies!
More information will be posted here in February.
