Our Club has submitted a car club entry into this large parade. We are allowed up to six Jaguars of any model. Due to the large parade entry fee ($175) we are asking the six Jaguar owners to pay $30 each to recover the cost. Participation is limited to the first six club members that notify Clark of their interest and pay the $30 fee (make checks out to Clark Kirby). Email Clark for mailing address or see him at the next club meeting or other event.
DEADLINE for submitting your car:
Friday Sept. 20, 2019
The biggest change from other parades that we have entered is that this parade requires that EACH of our cars be decorated with at least 1,500 tiny lights. Remember, this is a PARADE OF LIGHTS! Many retailers sell tiny LED lights on thin wires run by AA batteries that work perfectly and are best used to highlight the delightful curves of Jaguar bodies. For more information on lighting up your car, contact parade coordinator, Clark: email@example.com

Gather up your family and friends and join us in downtown Fort Worth for the 36th Parade of Lights! This year’s parade features spectacular floats, giant illuminated balloons, performing groups, local community groups and more. The parade is produced by Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. and the title sponsor for 2018 is GM Financial.
The fun begins at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Weatherford and Throckmorton streets and proceeds east along Weatherford, turns south on Commerce and goes all the way to 9th Street. At 9th, the parade turns west, proceeds past the Tarrant County Convention Center to Houston Street and then turns north on Houston to 2nd Street. Heads west on 2nd Street to Throckmorton Street, and turns South. The parade ends at 3rd Street and Throckmorton Street and will turn west onto 3rd Street back to the staging area. Expect about 100 parade entries and crowds of up to 25,000 spectators. Sundance Square retailers and restaurants will be open for great holiday shopping and dining plus the public is invited to stop by the Sundance Square Plaza, visit with Santa, and enjoy all the new, sparkling holiday decorations.
