Highland Park Parade

Highland Park High School in Dallas has won the Class 5A, Division 1 State Football Championship for the third year in a row. This is a stupendous feat for high school football.

In order to celebrate this accomplishment, Highland Park ISD is holding a celebratory parade to honor the team, the coaches, the fans and all the others who contributed and cheered the team on during the 2018 football season.

HPISD has asked whether we are interested in providing fifteen convertible Jaguars to hold celebrities/dignitaries during the parade. This is a significant honor! For last year’s parade, a Dallas-area BMW dealership provided vehicles. They could do so again but I told them that for such a celebration, that they needed to upgrade to Jaguars and they agreed!

Convertible Jaguars - Any Model and Year of Manufactured are Eligible. Sorry, but Jaguar Coupes are not requested since we are not “entries” in the parade (We ARE the parade!) This is because the maximum visibility of the celebrities are required.

At this time, the times are subject to change. Only inclement weather will cause the parade to be postponed or cancelled.

Cars are not required to be decorated, but if the Club member is interested, Highland Park High School’s colors are Royal Blue and Gold. Small magnetic signs stating: “Jaguar Owners Assn.-North Texas” may be affixed to our cars. HPISD will provide magnetic signs identifying the dignitaries/celebrities.

To receive the final details of parade participation, you must register your interest with Clark Kirby by January 8th. Contact Clark:
