The Race Against Kids' Cancer (RAKC) is a partnership between Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR) and The Morgan Adams Foundation (MAF), a nonprofit organization that raises funds for pediatric cancer research. MAF's mission of funding research targeting early-stage pediatric cancer is one that CVAR members are eager to support.
This year's Race Against Kids' Cancer is being held at Texas Motor Speedway.
You don't have to be a race car driver to see what all of the racing fun is about. RAKC features lunch rides in race, sports, and exotic cars where spectators can make a donation to MAF and get a ride with a qualified driver to see what it's like to be out on the track at speed. There's no bigger thrill for the dollar than these rides. And, you'll know that the donation you make for a ride will help fund life-saving pediatric cancer research!
So you can come for the racing; come for the lunch rides; come for the car show; come for the excitement and friends you'll see and make, but be sure to come on December 1st & 2nd! You'll be glad you did and even happier to know that you're helping sick kids and their families find some hope!
NOTE: Those who register their Jaguar for the Hagerty Show ‘N’ Shine will be participating in the pace lap around TMS’s oval racetrack!
Open to all classic, vintage, exotic, and collectible cars and motorcycles of interest, Hagerty Show and Shines are held in conjunction with the CVAR races. Each registered participant will receive with $25 donation:
Two weekend passes to the vintage races
Entry into the car show
A guided paddock tour
An opportunity to take part in a “last lap” raceway tour in their registered show car (subject to track conditions)
An event poster and program
Full access to the race car paddock
Attendance at a Saturday evening concert (when available)
Saturday evening fireworks (when available)
Optional driver dinner (an additional fee may apply)
Participants will receive a registration packet when they check in on Saturday morning.
